From our management personnel to our operators in the field, the focus on safety starts with orientation that continues to our ongoing education, training and recurring safety communication.
Daily Toolbox Talks
MBI Superintendents and Foremen conduct daily safety briefings at each job site before work begins. These briefings cover things such as weather conditions, general safety, potential hazards, required PPE, environmental protection, and safety controls like tool usage, traffic control, signage and vehicular safety. Other topics discussed are nearest medical facilities, point of contact and other potential hazards and how to avoid them.
Quarterly Safety Training

- – Mine Safety & Health Administration training,
- – and various other site and customer specific safety certifications.
Job Site Inspections
MBI performs job site safety inspections on a regular basis. These inspections cover 42 points that insure we comply with our safety policy and the OSHA standards.
Personal Protective Equipment
All MBI field employees are provided with the following PPE at their time of hire: hard hat, safety glasses, cut resistant gloves and hearing protection.
